-Is now able to lift her head and body off the ground and stay up there without it looking like it takes so much work. And can move around in a circle on the floor.
-Grabs at my hair, usually have her facing outward and she takes her right arm and reaches back to grab whatever she can.
-Arches her back to look up at us while on our lap.
-Is now on a 4 hour schedule, 2 hours awake(the last half hour is usually hard to keep her happy, because she gets tired), and 2 hours asleep or 2 hours in her crib(doesn't always sleep the whole amount of time, but she is in her crib for the 2 hours).
-Still not sleeping through the night, longest stretch has been 7 hours(Sept 18). Mostly 5-5 1/2 hours. Gets up one to two times to eat.
-Content, I think the reason why she is where she is at developmentally is just that she is content. Rob says she got that from him. She is just content to do what she can do, like she doesn't want to put forth the effort to try something new or work her muscles when she fine where she is. She is making lots of progress though, we put her on the floor a lot more now and that helps a ton.
-We still use the rice bags to position her so that her left side of head is off the ground, but I think that is becoming a lost cause since she is always on her left side when I go in to get her.
-Still is not eating solids, we have tried oatmeal, zucchini, avocado, banana, and some puffs. Not interested at all.
-Is drinking about 5 ounces at each feeding now.
-Cannot sit on her own, but it doing better sitting with some help. We borrowed an exersaucer from my sister in law, and although it mainly just takes up space, she is doing a lot better in it now and will play and is a lot stronger. Her torso fell a little backwards in the seat the other day, and she was able to use her strength to get back forward.
Instead of just flopping forward in it like this:
She is now lifting herself up.
-So, she now has 4 teeth, two on top and two on bottom. The two on top are coming in at the same time.
-She loves to rock, if we put her on our lap facing us, and we hold her hands, she will rock her body back and forth, with pretty good strength, fun to watch her do this.
And one last one, since sleeping babies are just so sweet and cute.
-Loves to be outside, it will calm her down instantly, and usually keeps her happy that last half hour before nap time. Love this little gal!
