Rob informed me that in our weed patch(where we didn't plant anything this year), there was a pea plant, with peas on it. So, I went out today and picked about 8 ripe pea pods off of it. Julie ate ALL of them, some while we were outside and the rest for lunch. There are still a few pea pods that are not quite ripe yet, so we shall get some more here soon. Kind of fun to get something that you were not expecting!
The one on the right was getting a bit old, but still tasted fine! I did snatch a few and they were quite tasty!

What a tasty and fun surprise! I love that Julie loves them so much. :) Ivy won't touch any kind of peas with a 10 foot pole...
